Hi, I'm a PR with a Singaporean citizen partner
I have a property in malaysia under my father's name with the bank loan under my name.
May I ask if I am eligible to apply for BTO if only the loan is under my name?
If it is possible for my partner to buy a resale HDB (He does not own any overseas or local properties)

Hi, is your name totally not part of the property in Malaysia? If that is the case you can try applying for a HDB with your partner? Are you two married? If you are married both of you must purchase a HDB together, if you guys are not married and he is above 35 then he can buy the resale HDB on his own.

    Based on the information you provided, you can opt for BTO as well, it will be under the fiance scheme. You can actually go apply for a HFE which will show you everything you are eligible for as well as any grants or loan amount available. Do remember to apply for the HFE early as it takes time to process and is valid for 9months.
