Hi, Im interested in 2 storey shophouses and i understand that i need get bank loan for it. i would like to know what are the % of loan that i would be able to get ? how many years of loan would i be able to get ?

Hi Max, currently rates for commercial properties start from 1.68% onwards. Loan tenor depends on your age and the other borrowers. Depending on the property and business nature, there are banks who will be willing to offer as well as some who will be adverse.

Additionally, loan to value ratio will vary with the use of the property - investment at 70% or own use at 80%.
