Hi, I'm interested to become a real estate agent. But there are some concerns.

Firstly, do I have to be employed by a real estate company? And will the company sponsor all the exams fee and lessons fees? Or I have to pay them myself.

Secondly, my concern is that I cannot have a break of income between the time I'm taking those exams. Am I able to hold my full time job at the same time until I officially start work as a property agent. Meanwhile taking exams?

Thirdly, how will the company help me to start up my career when I have no clients?

Thanks! Am interested to know more.

Morning Ms. Chan,

To start things off, you can take RES night classes and prepare for the exam before you take the papers. Upon getting your results, you can then choose which agency you want to hope onto. Till this point of time, all the expenses payable will be bound by you. Upon official joining an agency, you will be required to produce before the agency reimburse you part of your investment.
Since you are looking to possibly start as part time, you might be required to get approval or inform your current employer if you are in the civil sector.
As to how to help you with the startup, it would total be dependent on how much time you can put in and which sector you are interested in.

Do feel free to contact me for further discussion.
