Hi,

May I know if I have a property that is going to TOP soon in a year's time. Should I be looking to sell it now or near TOP? When is it best to sell it? (when price is the highest)
How to know what price we are able to sell and how to calculate the breakeven cost etc.

Thanks.

Hi Celia,

You need to factor in the misc cost in legal, stamping, agent's commission as well as the interest paid so far to determine the breakeven price and work out a selling price. Judging from previous experiences, units under construction are generally slower moving in sale but depending on the price and location as well as unit details, it can be attractive to buyers too. As long as your profit intended is met, it is always a good time to sell.

Let me know more about your unit such that we can engage in a more thorough discussion.
