Hi, Me and my fiancee is looking at buying a HDB executive resale flat. May I know what is the maximum loan(HDB or BANK loan) I can get with a total salary income of 5k/mth and I am able to come up with around 60k Cash payment.

Hi, the max loan for HDB will be at 90% whereas the max loan for the bank will be at 80%. There are pro and con from borrowing either of these. Pls feel free to let me know if you need any assistance.

Good morning buyer,

You are right to find out how much you can loan before househunting.

You can send in your HLE application via the link below or get in touch with me so my banker can advise you on that.

Btw do take note that you have to fork out 20% downpayment (5% cash and 15% CPF/ cash) if you obtain bank loan but just 10% downpayment (can be fully paid by CPF) if you obtain a HDB loan.
