Good morning Belinda,

cash outlay for buyers will normally be:

1) $200 valuation fee
2) $80 resale submission fee
3) few hundreds for HDB legal fee/ $2500 for private lawyer
4) pro rated conservancy fees
5) agent's commission (1% of purchase price)

Actual cash component required would depend on how much loan you are eligible for, how much CPF OA you have in hand, are you SPR or SC and are you taking housing grant or bank loan.

for purchasing a HDB, only the option fee of $1k and option exercise fee of $4k need cash component.

The rest of the amount can use CPF.

Example, if your HDB purchase price is $350k, $5k must be cash and $345k can utilize your CPF.
