My husband and I owns a three room resale HDB [can sell after 28 April 2012] near Clementi mrt. We are both bankrupt and are in the midst of a divorce. I wonder if;
-Should we sell the house first before divorcing?
-What will happens to our sales proceed?

Hi

In most bankruptcy cases, the Offical Assignee will still allow the bankrupt parties to keep the sales proceeds from the sale of a HDB unless the outstanding loan is a big amount of more than 1m.

Its best you seek the advice of your offical assignee on this before proceeding to sell.

Before u proceed to sell, i would also advise that you make plans for your next accomadation first.
