Hi, Need help on housing grant

I've intention to sell my 1st BTO flat (no grant)
If I buy 2nd flat from open market , am I entilited to housing grant ? Understand that housing grant is for first timer buying resale. Do I consider myself as a first timer buying resale ? Thanks pls enlighten.

Hi Jones,

You will be consider 2nd timer, as BTO is consider a heavily subsidy flat from HDB. Thus no grant for your next purchase.

Hi Jones,

BTO flats are considered subsidized flats therefore you'll be considered as 2nd timer. If you are taking up the grant, take note that you'll be liable for resale levy.
