Evening Ester,

I would assume that your spouse have either purchased the unit under non-citizen spouse scheme or gotten the unit prior getting married.
The latter case is true, you are elgible to purchase the private property solely under your name.

Do contact me for further discussion.

Hi Mdm Ester, yes you are eligible to purchase a private condo solely by yourself as the 1st property. If you are a citizen, then no additional stamp duty is involved. Pls feel free to let me know if you need any assistance.

Certainly, as mentioned by my fellow colleagues you can buy as 1st property without paying additional stamp duty.

Due to current market condition, many new launches were priced very competitive or existing project relaunched at a discount. If you would like to take this window of opportunity to make a value purchase. Feel free to call for further discussion or email for a list of carefully shortlisted properties based on your specific criteria.

Warmest regards
