Hi property experts, thought I'll cast a wider net as I was unable to find any useful info on the matter.
Here are the preset conditions:
1. I am single
2. I qualified for CPF housing grant under Singles scheme
3. I qualified for HDB housing loan
Question:
1. If I go ahead and buy a resale HDB flat with the above conditions, how complicated will the process be, when I add my spouse's name after getting married?
My Dilemma:
1. If I don't include her name, her CPF will not be utilized for the mortgage and we have to fork out cash.
2. If I include her name, is that treated as 'Part-Purchase' (I heard), and we have to come up more cash during the Part-Purchase process because my spouse is 'buying over' a portion of the HDB property?
Thanks very much to anyone who can assist to answer this.
