Hi there, I am a PR and wish to buy 3 br HDB flat. My wife is a PR too and she owns a property overseas (under joint name with her parent). The overseas property is occupied by her parents. Would there be any problem? Thanks

Hi Agus,

As your wife owns a overseas property and if both buying HDB, she will have to sell the overseas property after taking the HDB keys.

Another way is - transfer the overseas property to her parent's name. Then both your names to buy a HDB, while she can still have her overseas property under parent's name.
