Are you drawing on a fixed income basis? If so, as discussed by gurus here, the chances are unlikely you are eligible for new EC as they will review your latest 3 months payslip.

May I understand your housing plans further and value-add? There are some new private condo projects, which on a psf basis, is priced close to ECs. Can I have the opportunity to share with you more? Thanks

May I know how much do your combined income exceeds by? If it's too much, the chances of appeal is slim. And if it is by abit, maybe you still stand a chance. Nevertheless the developer will give the priority to those buyers who met the criteria first before releasing any balance units to buyers that are in your situation.

I will advise you to purchase a private condo instead. As there are numerous new projects that are launched/ launching soon or balance units that are under construction for your consideration. Some are giving huge discounts too.

Probably you can share more of your preferences and requirements and I shall see whether I can work around it.
