Shophouse are considered as commercial property.
If you are citizen or PR, you will be eligible to buy resale HDB.

You will eligible to buy HDB flats if you are a local or PR.
However, pls note that you may be required to dispose your shophouse within 6 months after you buy, if your shophouse living quarter, such as those with living space at the 2nd or 3rd storey.
