Hi, would like to seek for advice from those who have been through these circumstances.Me and my partner are both SPR here in Singapore. Understand that to purchase a resale HDB here, we would need to be married and have been SPR for at least 3 years. However, one of us currently owned a property in Malaysia.
Hence,
1) Would like to understand on how can we proceed in buying a resale HDB here in Singapore under these circumstances as i understand that we are not suppose to owned any private property prior to buying a resale property.
2) Does transferring the Malaysia property ownership to any party be sufficient to qualify for the resale purchase? And if yes, is there a cooling period we have to do that prior to buying? (i.e 6 months).
