You should perhaps check if there is any further discounts on the course after UTAP and see how you can ride on the promotion. I read earlier on this forum that someone is looking for a buddy to register for RES course together.
Aside from this, I am a believer that these costs enroute to be a practising realtor is part of the business costings where one should put in. I am aware of agencies giving out subsidy or even full refund for aspiring agents who join them but I just feel that this is not entirely beneficial since when you feel no pinch your motivation level could be questionable. If you have put in the costings, I am quite sure that you will look forward in recouping these costs as soon as possible. $800 can be recovered by doing 2 room rentals easily if you ask me, if you follow the right mentor or team, this can be done closing one and half eye probably.
