Hi Mr Lim,

SPR is not entitled to any housing grant. If you a Singaporean and a first timer, you will be entitled to a housing grant.

You may text 9620 0827  for a casual chat.

Warmest regards.

Good evening Yaw Keong,

You will be eligible up to $40k CPF housing grant if you are SC while your spouse already turn SPR (both first timer). You can apply for EHG if can meet eligibility condition and if you choose to stay near parents, it will be a further $20k proximity housing grant.

Perhaps you can share more information with me so I will be in a better position to advise you further.

Hope my sharing helps in aiding in your enquiry. May I know how can I value add further in your property needs?

Best regards,

YT Tan

Hi sir

I have replied to you in your previous post. To elaborate, if you purchase a resale now under non citizen spouse scheme, you will be eligible for singles grant ($25K) and EHG (Singles) grant (amount depending on you and wife pay). Upon your wife getting a SPR, you can claim the top up grant (Family Grant for SPR ($40k)/EHG grant depending on you/wife pay at that point of time minus Singles Grant (25k)/EHG grant (singles) that you get upon purchasing the house). I have served various buyers purchasing under non citizen spouse scheme with one of buyer's spouse managing to get a SPR recently. He has successfully claimed the top up grant as explained. I understand it might be difficult to understand this information through my explanation via this forum. For more detailed explanation, do contact me at 93375051  .

Hi Mr. Lim,

1) Once your wife received her SPR status. You and your wife are eligible for a family grant of $40k for a 4-rm flat and smaller, $30k for 5-rm or bigger. You don't have to wait for 3 yrs to be eligible for the grants.
2) You can also apply for a citizen top-up grant of $10k (varies depending on the flat type chosen) in the future when your wife became SC from SPR. Do note that this grant is only valid for 6 mths upon receiving citizenship.
3) You may also buy now under the Non-Citizen Spouse Scheme, where you are eligible for a single grant of $25k for 4-rm and small, or $20k for 5-rm or bigger.
4) Under this situation, you are also eligible for the top-up grant of $15k (varies depending on the flat type chosen) when your wife became SPR. Note that this grant is only valid for 6 mths upon receiving the SPR status.
5) Your household income must not exceed $14k to be eligible for both types of top-up grants.

Hope the above answer to your main concerns, but if there are more query, please feel free to contact me at 90110636  , or email: ling.ck7@gmail.com if more information is needed.
I'll be glad to assist.
