Hi, appreciate your sharing. Currently the landed is fully paid or having any loan ?
At the current moment, only can buy 4 room. For 5 room have to await 15 months.

I have assisted my clients who are in the same situation as yourself, selling their landed property to downsize to a HDB flat. There are some important issues that you will need to take note for such a move.

One issue with be the Timeline Planning - You will need to time the sale and purchase together if you wish to use the sale proceeds from the semi-d to fully finance the HDB flat purchase. I wish to inform you that with the latest measures introduced, you are only able to purchase a HDB resale flat that is up to 4RM flat in size. Should you wish to get a bigger flat, you will need to serve a wait-out period of 15 months after selling your semi-detached house to be eligible.

Alternatively, you may wish to write in to HDB to appeal for you to buy a bigger HDB flat. Approval will be on a case-by-case basis.
