I am a self employed and my monthly income is above $7000 and i dont have any CPF contribution.
i would like to buy a condo.so pls advise me on the procedure to buy a condo in terms of bank loan procedure and am i eligible to get bank loan?

Hi Chandran,

For private property is 5% cash, 5% CPF and remaining bank loan. If you do not have CPF, then it should be 10% cash upfront.
Before you commit on a condo, you must discuss with a bank on the housing loan. Tell the bank what amount you intend to loan. The bank officer will assess your creditability and decide whether they could loan you 90% or lower. Is better when you obtain the loan approval from bank before you sign the OTP.
