It would definitely be good for you to have someone to represent you for the purchase. That would make all legal dealing, negotiation and process easier for you.

As for commission rate, I'm open to nego if you require my assistance.

Hi Hunter

You only need to pay commission (1% of total price +GST) to the agent you appoint.
Besides paying commission, you also need some cash to pay the option to purchase and COV of the unit you want to buy.

When you appoint an agent, you get
- someone to liase all viewings
- negotiating price
- hdb sale and purchase process
- latest updates on hdb rules if applicable

It is worth to save all the hassle by appointing an agent to serve you. Which area do you want to stay at? I am happy to help you.

Hear from you soon okay? :)

Best wishes

I see. I was under the impression that the buyer agent will co broke with the seller agent and the buyer need not pay any commission since the agent will definitely get something when the buyer makes his purchase. isnt this the case?
