I am selling my unit and I have a price in mind and it is my first time dealing with agents. Hope some of you can help out with my query.

Would it be possible to engage multiple agents at once without signing any agreement at all. And I will only pay the commission when an agent successfully find a buyer who agrees and transact with the asking price.

If so, how do I go about doing it? Do I need to sign any contracts or agreements?

I would be able to assist you in the sale of your unit and the answers to your queries as per below:

Qn1: Would it be possible to engage multiple agents at once without signing any agreement at all.
Ans1: Yes, you can just sign the CEA non-exclusive sales agreement.

Qn2: And I will only pay the commission when an agent successfully find a buyer who agrees and transact with the asking price.
Ans2: Yes, only pay commission to the closing agent.

Qn3: If so, how do I go about doing it?
Ans3: Call an agent, engage him either thru telecommunication or a face to face meetup.

Qn4: Do I need to sign any contracts or agreements?
Ans4: Technically, you will need to sign the CEA Non-exclusive sale contract which is a standard issue agreement from governing body CEA.
If your unit is a HDB, you will also need to sign the HDB seller checklist form.

Evening,

If you are looking into engaging multiple agents, you will need to sign advertising consent with individual agents, as per CEA requirement. And if you are selling your HDB unit, you are required to complete different set of seller checklist with the different agents.
