I currently live in a 4 room HDB flat(purchase direct from HDB)and the age of my unit is less than 5 years but I have the intention to sell my unit and upgrade to condo. Unfortunately, HDB requires all their direct buyers to occupy their unit aleast 5 years.

Recently, I have received many flyers from the various properties agents stating that they are able to help owners to sell their units even if they did not live in it for 5 years.

I would like to seek advice from the Gurus whether if what these agents say about able to sell units that are less than 5 years old are true.

I would be more than interested to do so if it is true.
