Investing in landed property is definitely going to reap benefits down the road as capital appreciation for these properties will likely be attractive in land scarce Singapore. The issue here is if you can sustain the servicing of loan for such properties given that rental returns for landed properties are unattractive if you compare to condominiums. Nigel has also proposed to look into investment in our northern neighbours especially in Iskandar. There isn't a doubt that this region in Iskandar is currently undergoing massive developments and with massive potential, where the magic word is potential since nothing has actually materialised, therefore it is still a dream.
