Hi,

You need approval to do so, and both sellers to be selling the same time. Typically one of the units is already owned by the buyer and, they will seek preliminary approval from hdb to see if the jumbo configuration can be achieved before buying. Thanks and hope to assist further.

First you need to find 2 adjacent units with owners selling their units, before you apply for approval from HDB.

A much easier method would be to buy an existing jumbo unit.

If you intend to purchase unit under conversion scheme, you will either need to own one unit or buy both unit at the same time. In order for the conversion scheme to take place, you will need approval from the estate officer after the necessary inspection have being conducted.

For conversion to Jumbo flat, you will need to apply to HDB for approval before purchasing the flat. You should be the owner of one unit and with the intention of purchasing the adjacent unit to convert into a Jumbo.
