I live with landlord in HDB flat, for what he has a month deposit. I want to move out and give him a month notice without intending to ask for my deposit until the end of the four weeks. However, he now claims that he wont accept my month notice as I moved in on the 29th of the month and the month notice can only start on the 29th of every month. I would like to stress the fact that I asked him several times for a contract that he has repeatly said he would give me but never did, another reason why Im moving out. What are my rights? Is he evading taxes?
