Given that you put your HDB up for sale now kicking off the paperworks process, the earliest 1st appointment date you could likely get is in mid November, considering the 7 days cooling period you need to undertake before confirming your sale, therefore legal completion is likely early 2013. In this case, you are likely to require 1year rental before your new place TOPs. I am not too sure what your plans are for this move, as Mike has also raised up this issue on why are you selling your unit now.
