I still have 3 months left in my current TA which is a HBD room. I also found a new place (Condo) I would like to rent. I'm thinking to get that condo and sign the TA. I'm currently a EP holder. However, my moving date for new place is 1st December. But I'm thinking to sign the TA and pay the rent there and at the same time keep the current place for additional few days(till mid December) by paying the December rental for HDB. So I'll be renting two places at the same time and I'll submit to change my address particulars by Dec 1st. . Can I know is it allowed to rent two places in Singapore by law. Is there any issue with this ?

Transition period should not be an issue. Your landlord at HDB should remove your name from HDB when you are no longer staying there. Read More
