I believe it will also depends if the owner who engages the agent to market the property has disclosed the situation to the agent before marketing. As agents, we will require owner's consent in marketing a property for sale, but there are also times when owners are not being upfront to agents. If the other owner wishes to enforce for agent to remove listing, I think the only way is to go through the proper legal channels.
