If I apply for HDB BTO/SBF and am not successful and keep trying in subsequent launches, will our household income be calculated per our income at the time of each application, or do we keep it the same as the first application? If we fail our applications each time and our household income exceeds the income ceiling in say 2 years, are we no longer eligible for HDB?

Hi,

Household income ceiling is based on the point of each application. For every BTO/SOBF exercise, you have to submit a new application.

I am experienced and well-versed in both HDB and private transactions. I will be able to assist you in your property plans. Please get in touch with me for a more in-depth discussion.

Should you need require further assistance in matters relating to property, please contact me at my mobile 9748 6305  . I will be happy to assess and share with you the possibilities for you in the current market.

Hi,

1) You have to submit your income at each application.
2) You are absolutely right that if within 2 years your income already can exceed the income ceiling it means that your career is advancing faster than the average fellow citizen.
3) You may consider moving on to a higher category of public housing such as EC rather than competing with those who are at a lower income level than you.

Hope the above answer to your main concerns, but if there are more query, please feel free to contact me at 90110636  , or email: ling.ck7@gmail.com if more information is needed.
I'll be glad to assist.

Best regards
