If I sell my current 5 room flat, I may be able to get back about $100K cash, but if I do contra to buy a EM using HDB Loan, does that means all the money for the sales of my 5room will go to HDB? I wont take back my $100K cash? cos EM is much more expensive.

Hi Tan

Yes, in contra case, the proceeds of your sold flat will go to your new flat. But you have the choice to decide whether all proceed goes to the new flat or use partial of the proceed & take up the loan for the balance amount, then you will have more cash on hand.

No worries, I have handle many contra cases before & are well-verse in this area.

Pls call me @ 9389 1770  & will have a clearer discussion with you to solve your doubts.

Have a great day! =)

Thanks
