If the landlord rented out a room from her house, the tenancy/ possession of that room is transferred from the owner to the tenant for a specified period of time given that rental fees are paid by the tenant, is it correct? The owner cannot just freely enter the room without the tenant’s consent, right?

Hi,

I would be most glad to assist you further and pls feel free to let me know if you need any assistance. Have a good day ahead. By the way, yes you are right and the landlord cannot gain entry into the room during the lease period.

Can i install a cctv in my rented room to protect myself in case the landlord enters my room again without my permission?

Even if it was not explicitly indicated in the tenancy agreement, the lease itself means that the landlord should not enter the room that she rented out or else it’s invading privacy, right?
Hi, appreciate your sharing. It subject to both parties to discuss and serve notice before entering.
