Hi Richard,

Unfortunately this portal does not allow landlords to put up their own listings.

Why are you not considering engaging the services of a real estate professional? Especially when market reports still indicating that rental market is weak, with high volume of vacant units still in the market.

Tenants can visit http://bit.ly/SGExpatRental (Official Rental Requirements - Singapore Expatriates) to indicate your rental requirements.

Hi Mr. Chong,

There are certain conditions to meet before eligible to rent out the whole flat:
(1) Completed MOP of the flat.
(2) If not completed MOP, had wrote letter to HDB to get an approval.

Upon confirmed on the above, you may now have to do some research in order to be successfully rent out your unit at a reasonable rate:
(1) survey the rental rate of the nearby unit.
(2) Check each posting of their conditions.
(3) What was offer and why they are rated as such.

Upon posting an ads, answer enquiries, scan and filter tenants that you are not comfortable with.

Clean up the place & prepare for the viewing. Do a property presentation, negotiate with potential tenants to get an agreement on the terms and conditions.

Draft a tenancy contract, sign and stamp the document. Report to HDB for approval (acknowledgment).

The other way of doing it is to engage a real estate salesperson to handle for you. Of course, signing the tenancy agreement is still unavoidable, unless you are overseas. Your real estate salesperson will advise you on how to proceed.

Hope the above answer to your main concerns, but if there are more queries, please feel free to contact me at 90110636  , or email: ling.ck7@gmail.com if more information is needed.
I'll be glad to assist.

Best regards
