I'm a PR and just bought a 3+1 HDB near Serangoon 6 months back. Will I be able to put up the HDB on rent if I plan to travel back to my hometown?

On a case by case basis and if you have a valid reason to be away, you should appeal to HDB. www.catherinepang.com Read More

Evening Gladson,

Based on the nature and period of the travel, HDB will grant provision on the rental request, which would not be included into the MOP requirement.
You are required to write-in to HDB and request for the approval.
