Hi Patrick, I think you are confused between mortgage servicing ratio (MSR) and minimum sum (MS). CPF Minimum sum (MS) - the amount you need to set aside in the Retirement Account (RA) for your retirement needs http://mycpf.cpf.gov.sg/members/CPFWithdrawalsat55YearsOld.htm MSR: the percentage of your income that you can use to finance for HDB and EC purchase.
