Me and my wife are foreigners with both of us holding EP. We are new to Singapore (just about 3 months), but are excited at the property investment opportunities. I think, we can afford a house worth of 800K. 1. Will I get a loan as foreigner on EP as I dont even have a CPF account yet. 2. I'm planning to apply for PR the moment I get eligibility, after few months. Will my loan prospects increase after getting PR? 3. I reasd that Private Finance companies lend as much as 90% of the value where as banks lend 80% of the value. Is that true? What are the lending rates? me and my wife both have our salarya ccounts with DBS. Is there an advantage?
