My partner is a divorcee and we have decided to get married. Before this, he and his ex wife owned a private property which they sold while still in marriage and then bought a HDB resale. In this resale, he was listed as an occupier. Shortly after this they filed for divorce. I want to know if we get married, are we able to buy a sibsidized flat immediately or do we have to wait 33 mths because he owned a private property before?
