Planning to buy an HDB in 2018 Jan (after completing 3 yr as PR).
1)Can we start viewing the units early?
2)How long it will take to complete the process once we decided on the unit ?
3)How much is the agent fee for buyer ?
4)Buyer allowed to start the renovation only after handover or can allow the reno contractor to view the unit before the handover ?

Hi

You will not be able to sign on the dotted line of the OTP until you have reached 3 years.

1) it will be a wasted time as you cannot commit to the purchase.
2) broadly it will take about 3 months from the date of exercising the option.
3) The agent's fee is 1%
4) For renovation, you will need an indemnity form
