URA has rejected my application to convert the soho@central, a commercial SOHO to a pure residential since i wished to stay there indefinitely. My conveyance lawyer has advised me to take up a civil suit case against the real estate agency for damages, after he had studied the original option to purchase form which has undertake the premises to the seller, as a residential, whereby the place's approved use is an office space. As I knew this agent as a friend, am I able to the real estate agency to compensate for my damages out of court instead of going through the litigation? Thanks
