We have bought a landed property, and the key handover day is this week. The agent is related to the seller btw. Up til now, we didn't bother our sellers with any additional visits after OTP signing except when the valuer had to go down. Now that the keys will be handed over to us, we have been asking the agent about electricals, water supply, gas, past renovation, aircon, etc. however, we find that the agent is extremely inpatient in replying. After all, our purchase is a large one - millions of dollars - so we only have a few questions, yet met with this sort of unfriendliness after OTP was signed. Any tips on how to navigate this?

The matter of fact is that the agent has no obligations to answer your questions since it is already a done deal, if such questions were posted before entering into the agreement, I am relatively certain that the questions maybe treated with more urgency.

Not sure what your questions are, but your questions could be answered by someone who is familiar with units in that estate instead if it is not too personalised to that unit itself.
