Hi there, standards for service fee for selling a private residential is 2 percent, to be split between both seller and buyer agent, that said when engaging an agent to buy an private residential, there is usually no service involved for the buyer. Hi

Typical for sale, agent success fee is 2% of sale transacted price + GST. As for the purchase of private property, the buyer agent typically shares the seller agent's commission payable by the seller to him or her. This is typically called a "co-broke" arrangement. Or in the event of a new launch property, the developer will be paying a service fee to the agent that successfully completes the sale & purchase transaction.

For selling a private condo, the market commission is 2% of the sale price. As a buyer of a new condo, you will not need to pay any commission as the developer is the one paying the commission.

If buying a brand new launch from developer, there will be no fees from buyer.

Private property sale commission rate varies but most typical will be 2% of the sales price and GST will be applicable on this 2%. For private property purchases, recommended arrangement will be 1% of the purchase price with GST applicable on this 1% by the industry body, but most salespersons will not charge any commission to private property buyers.
