What should i do if my flat which is bigger and yet superior in location have the same valuation of a 4NG flat.

Should i appeal to HDB?
Is there anything that can be done to the valuer firm if i show them the facts and figures that the valuation figure is unfair?

Hi Sam Sam,

The valuation of a flat depends on the location, age, renovation, floor level and many other factors..

Did you tidy and clean your house before the valuer came? 1st impression is very important to the valuer and your future potential buyers..

Hi Sam Sam,

I have had a similar case before in Sengkang 4room. Compared to a similar unit which is low floor and interior averaged, this high floor unit has better facing (no pm sun), full homogeneous tiles and parquet flooring for all the 3 rooms with air con and built in wardrobe which is only valued about $5k more.

I helped the seller to request for another valuation, and this time $10k more instead.
