With financial situation all around and predictions that real estate market is due for correction by 15-25%, is it advisable to buy a private property even if it is 20% less than the Bank valuation?

Private property prices have come down by about 20% since the beginning of this year. Some bankers I've spoken to feel market downside is prob 5-10% next year.

Is it a good time to buy? Yes because there are owners/investors letting go of prime location properties and very low PSF prices.

This financial turmoil is necesary to clean up the financial sector and renew it so 1 or 2 years down the road, the world economy will be on better footing and we'll be ready to cash out our property investments then. Read More
