Dear sir/mdm,

For (1), single SPR are ineligible to purchase a resale flat in Singapore, thus even if you sell or transfer your ownership of your property in Malaysia out, you will still be ineligible.

For (2), SPR can purchase non-landed private residential properties in Singapore, and the prevailing Buyer Stamp Duty and Additional Buyer Stamp Duty will apply.

Hi,

1) Yes need to transfer overseas property first, wait out 15 months (for resale) or 30 months (for only 2-room BTO) before you can apply. You can buy under single singaporean citizen scheme

2) For private property condos no issue, you can purchase anytime. The only difference is the ABSD payable for first property. As a foreigner (60%), SPR (5%), SC (0%) .

Hi,

1) Unfortunately single PR are not eligible to buy HDB in Singapore. There mus be at least 2 PRs (with both holding PR for more than 3 years).
2) You can choose a private condo, ABSD of only 5% applied.

Hi,

Yes, you're eligible to purchase a HDB resale flat under Single Scheme once you gotten your Citizenship.

However, as you currently own a private property overseas, you will need to dispose it and wait out 15 months before you're eligible to purchase a HDB resale flat.

Alternatively, you can purchase a private residential property instead. If you buy as an SPR, 5% ABSD applies. If you buy after converting to Citizen, you need not pay any ABSD for your first property purchase.
