Hi buyer,

For private transactions, normally buyer's agent will take commission from the seller's agent.

While for HDB, 1% of purchase price as commission must be given to buyer's agent by buyer.

Feel free to contact me for more information.

Hope to hear from you soon!

Warmest Regards,

Afternoon,

There's no regulation restricting buyers or sellers from DIY their own S&P, in accordance with the ACT. How comfortable are you with the possible risk of slipping through it? I believe you have read about cases where people DIY their own sales or purchase and ended up in a fix.

As for purchase of private transaction, it's unlikely that someone will assist you, once you have negotiated the pricing coz the seller's agent will not share his commission with your agent. That's unless you are willing to pay your own salesperson.

For HDB, market practise is at 1% though the CEA act states otherwise.

Unless you can manage the sale transaction, it will be better to engage an agent. www.catherinepang.com Read More
