For purchase of resale flat, when we place the $5000 mean it is the "Option To Purchase"? Then we need to wait for the valuation report out & then determine to exercise this OTP?
Is there any penalty id we do not exercise? At the most we just lost the $5000?

Hi Mugen, if you chose not to exercise the HDB OTP, then you only lose that $1000 deposit.

Hi,

Minimum option fee is $1, while the max is $1,000. The total Deposit (option + exercise fee) should not exceed $5,000. Failure to exercise OTP will only be forfeited the option fee.
