Hi all, is the property market for condos going to rise in the next quarter?

Hi,
On the ground, it does appear that there is an upturn in viewing activity and buyers seem to be returning. From statistics, resale market prices are either stabilizing or showing marginal price fluctuations quarter on quarter. The transactional volumes of resale condo are increasing, as evident from the latest month March flash estimates. All these could indicate a market where buyers are returning and prices holding up, if not increasing.

One of the factors affecting the real estate market is the sentiments. We are experiencing positive sentiments on the ground with the resale index for non landed private property rising for the past 5 months to reach a 2 1/2 year high. Developers are also expecting with the market to turn in the next 2-3 years as they bid aggressively to replenish their land bank as seen from the recent land sales at Toh Tuck Road.
Sales figures at recent new launches such as Grandeur Park and Park Place are also encouraging. Some analysts are also of the view that the market has bottomed out and will move north soon.
