Properties prices dropping year by year and Properties supply getting more and more each year.I do have spare cash to buy another one now beside my own stay fully paid condo but i don't have the confident and feel is no longer worth to invest or park my money in this sector anymore.Any Guru,to clarify this?

Hi,

I am quite curious why you hold such a perspective and what are the underlying reasons that made you feel so? The performances across various districts maybe on a general downtrend but not all are under-performing and our fundamentals are still quite sound in my opinion. Some of the prices of projects in the prime area have come off significantly that it seems undervalued relative to comparable global cities competitors.

May I have more info and requirements about your plans so to make better recommendations? Thanks and look forward to value-add to your housing plans.

I believe this concern is not limited to you but many others who are sitting on the fence deciding whether to commit or not.

You are right that there is still new units being developed, new projects launching in pipeline. In the short term, demand is unlikely able to keep up with the supply line, however, if we follow the market updates closely, it is also not difficult to understand that because of this current market on top of the market developments in our neighbouring countries, foreigners are slowly but surely making their return to purchase properties in Singapore, therefore what is the indicator of such market report?

If you ask me, not all projects can be invested in. We really need to study the dynamics of supply and demand on top of the ongoing developments and redevelopments within the estate/town/vicinity to determine how worthwhile or sensible can the investment be.

It is true that it is very unlikely that we are able to see the returns from real estate investment like we used to, but sound investment decision can still reap in respectable returns. Due diligence is still the key to any form of investments.
