Hi all,
I've just passed the RES and I'm sti considering my options for now. I've received a flyer after my exams and it was comparing the "company tax" between the big 5 agencies which ranges between 10k - 19k+ for new agents.
What is this tax for? Does this tax need to be paid to the company annually? Is it applicable even if my earnings are less than the stated amount?
I've recently graduated from a master's in marketing analytics and I'm currently working as a data analyst focusing on marketing and trends. I enjoy my work and I'm not looking to pursue becoming a real estate full time. I'm just wondering if I have to pay 10k+ to be registered under an agency when I'm uncertain how much I can earn from this part time/ as hoc.
I'm also interested in analytics for real estate and if my analytics/ machine learning skillset can be applicable to any agencies/ team I would love to explore that option.
