Hi, do I have to pay SSD if wanna sell condo bought in Mar 2009, TOP in Sep 2012? If want to transfer ownership, what is the estimated amount to pay? After selling, what duties / fees do I need to pay if I purchase another condo

Morning Lyn,

As you have signed the S&P before 20 Feb 2010, you are not eligible for Seller Stamp Duty. As for transfer of ownership, you are required to pay legal fee, valuation fee, possible banks charges for early repayment, depending on your mortgage policy, and the stamp fee which is payable for the transfer of name. This amount varies depending on the valuation price.

To purchase another condo after sales, you are only required to pay the standard stamp fee and legal fee, other than the standard 20% downpayment if you get 80% loan.
