For such cases, you have to buy with your parents if you are single. If they have any property on hand they be required to sell it as well.

Oh you can purchase a HDB together with your mum. And right you will be buying under the Public Scheme and not the Single Scheme.

The issue here will be whether your mum already owns a HDB flat. If she does, then she will have to dispose of that property before she can buy together with you. You also mentioned you are below 35 now so how long more before you reach 35?
