You are only eligible to purchase a resale hdb with a SC or SPR that fulfill 3 years SPR status under any of the HDB schemes. And you have to dispose off any interest on your overseas residential property within 6 months from completion date.

Afternoon Mr. Tham,

To purchase resale HDB unit, you need to buy it with another SPR spouse who have also being SPR for more than 3 years or another SC.Upon fulfilling this basic requirement, you can opt to remove your name on the property in Malaysia within 6 months from collection of keys to the HDB unit.
